We’ve added a new AI feature that automatically analyzes your videos and generates descriptions, transcriptions, and alt text for you.
This helps your content get discovered by search engines and AI-powered platforms, while also saving you time on manual work. You can review and edit everything before it goes live.
You can turn this on in your Moast dashboard under Settings → Integrations → Media Analysis.
Available now for all Pro plan merchants.

You can now change the aspect ratio of your carousel slides. Choose between vertical, square, or horizontal to match your content and layout.
You can find this setting in the Moast app block inside your Shopify theme editor.
NOTE: If you’re using the fullscreen player and want to keep your video’s original aspect ratio when a shopper clicks to watch, make sure to turn off the “Crop to fit vertical aspect ratio” setting.
You can find this in your Moast dashboard under Settings → Widget Settings.


You can now see your top performing media based on likes in the Analytics section. View your top 5 at a glance, and click More details to see the full list.
Available now for all Pro plan merchants in Analytics.

New ways to filter and search media
We’ve added new ways to filter and search your media so it’s easier to find and manage your content.
- Bulk show/hide:quickly update visibility for multiple videos at once
- Filter by creator:find media from specific creators or social accounts
- Improved search:the search bar now looks at both file names and captions, so you can find videos by specific words used in the caption (for example, search “sale” to find all videos that mention it)

We just launched a new feature that helps your brand get discovered inside AI assistants and AI-powered shopping platforms.
When you turn this on, your videos and product content can be picked up by AI systems that recommend products to shoppers. This gives your brand more reach and helps you show up in AI-driven shopping experiences.
This feature is available on the Pro plan.
To enable it, head to Settings → Integrations → AI and Search Engines in your Moast dashboard and turn it on.

Loop videos when in fullscreen
You can now choose what happens when a video finishes playing. Instead of automatically moving to the next video, you can set it to replay the same video until the shopper scrolls to the next one.
You’ll find this setting in the Moast global widget settings.
Head to Settings → Widget Settings → Fullscreen Player → Autoplay to update it.

You can now format your video captions with bold text, italic text, and line breaks. This makes it easier to highlight important details and structure your captions clearly.
You’ll see the new formatting options directly in the caption text field when editing a video in your dashboard.

Multi-language support is now live in the app and available on the Pro plan. You can use Moast in multiple languages and translate your widgets to match your store.
Once you add new languages and publish them to your Shopify store, Moast will automatically detect them.

Then, inside the Moast app, go to Settings > Text & Labels > You’ll now see all of your published store languages, and you can translate the Moast widget for each one.
We’ll create default translations for each language automatically, and you can edit the wording anytime if you want to customize it.

You can now change the thumbnail image for your videos. Choose a frame from the video or upload your own custom cover image.
To update a thumbnail, go to your Media Library, select a video, and you’ll see the new option to edit the cover image.

We added a new global widget setting that lets you open product pages in a new tab. When this setting is enabled, clicking a product tag on a video will open the product page in a new browser tab instead of the same one.
